Where it all Began

Our Story

After working for many years in various large international fashion houses, Chic Alala founder Angie Hora left the corporate world to start selling clothes at markets and festivals around the Central Coast of NSW.
Beginning her market journey selling designer second-hand clothes, Angie soon moved onto sourcing new pieces from hand-picked brands. But despite finding much success with her curated pieces, Angie wanted to take things a step further – to create her very own label.
“I’ve designed and selected all the pieces myself off the knowledge I have gained from being in fashion for many years. I’ve chosen cuts that suit all different types of sizes and ages, having learnt which styles work throughout my retail career,” says Angie.
Featuring colourful ethnic prints with a focus on high quality fabric, Chic Alala taps into a bohemian luxe lifestyle. Chic Alala is a brand for the wanderer, the dreamer, the beach roamer.
Sold online and via her market stalls.
